Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information RoleConsole can access, what we use it for, what we store, and how users can request deletion.

Last updated: 2 October 2026

Quick summary: RoleConsole is a Discord bot for server role management and staff administration. It uses Discord data only as needed to provide those features. We do not sell Discord user data.

1. Who we are

RoleConsole is operated by LPcomix Productions (“we”, “us”, or “our”). RoleConsole is a third-party Discord application and is not owned or operated by Discord Inc.

2. What information RoleConsole can access

Depending on the permissions and Discord Gateway Intents enabled for a server, RoleConsole may receive:

3. What we store

RoleConsole is designed to keep persistent storage to a minimum. Its configuration may store information such as:

RoleConsole does not intentionally maintain a database of users' private conversations, passwords, Discord login credentials, or Discord authentication tokens.

4. Staff logs

If a server administrator configures a staff-log channel, RoleConsole may post role-management audit messages there. For example, a log may identify the member whose role changed, the role involved, and the staff member who performed the action. These logs are visible according to the permissions configured by the server.

Server owners and administrators are responsible for deciding whether their use of staff logs is appropriate for their community and for managing access to those logs.

5. How we use information

We use information obtained through Discord only for purposes connected to RoleConsole's functionality, including:

6. Sharing

We do not sell or rent Discord user data. We do not share Discord API data with third parties except where necessary to operate the service through a service provider, where required by law, where Discord requires it under its developer terms, or where a user/server administrator expressly directs the bot to perform an action that necessarily involves the relevant Discord data.

Discord itself processes information according to Discord's own policies and terms. You can review Discord's privacy policy at discord.com/terms/privacy-policy.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep persistent configuration only for as long as it is needed to provide RoleConsole's functionality. When a server stops using RoleConsole, its stored server configuration should be deleted when it is no longer necessary for the service, subject to technical backups and any legal requirements.

If you want persistent RoleConsole data associated with a server or user deleted, contact the operator using the current contact method published on lpcomix.dev. Please provide enough information for us to identify the relevant server or data without sending passwords, tokens, or other authentication secrets.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information used by RoleConsole. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Discord bot credentials and other authentication secrets should never be shared publicly.

9. Children's privacy

RoleConsole is a Discord application and users must meet Discord's applicable age requirements. We do not intentionally use RoleConsole to create profiles of children or to collect information beyond what is necessary for its stated functionality.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights concerning your personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing. Requests can be made using the current contact method published on lpcomix.dev.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when RoleConsole's functionality, data practices, or applicable legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will be changed when a new version is published. If a change materially affects how we use data, we will take reasonable steps to make the change clear to users.

12. Contact

For privacy questions or data requests, use the current contact method published on lpcomix.dev. Do not send Discord passwords, bot tokens, API keys, or other secrets.
