Terms of Service

These Terms explain the rules for installing and using RoleConsole on Discord servers.

Last updated: 2 October 2026

Important: These Terms govern use of RoleConsole. They do not replace or override Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Developer Terms, Developer Policy, or other applicable Discord rules.

1. About RoleConsole

RoleConsole is a third-party Discord bot that provides server role-management and staff-administration features. It is operated by LPcomix Productions and is independent of Discord Inc.

2. Acceptance

By installing, configuring, accessing, or using RoleConsole, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use RoleConsole.

If you are using RoleConsole on behalf of a Discord server, organisation, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to do so.

3. Discord requirements

Your use of RoleConsole must comply with Discord's applicable rules, including Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Developer Terms of Service, and Developer Policy. If those rules conflict with these Terms, the applicable Discord rules take precedence.

4. Server permissions and responsibility

RoleConsole can only perform actions for which the Discord bot has the required permissions and which Discord's role hierarchy allows.

Server owners and administrators are responsible for:

5. Acceptable use

You must not use RoleConsole to:

6. Role-management actions

RoleConsole can give or remove roles when an authorised user requests those actions. The person using the bot is responsible for ensuring that the requested action is authorised and appropriate.

RoleConsole may refuse a role action when Discord permissions, role hierarchy, managed-role restrictions, configuration, or technical conditions prevent the action.

7. Availability

RoleConsole is provided on an “as available” basis. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the service at any time, including for maintenance, security, technical, or policy reasons.

8. Third-party services

RoleConsole depends on Discord and its APIs. Discord is a separate service with its own terms and policies. We are not responsible for outages, API changes, account restrictions, or other issues caused by Discord or another third-party service.

9. Intellectual property

Subject to third-party rights, RoleConsole's original software, branding, and related materials are owned by or licensed to LPComix Productions. You may use RoleConsole through its intended Discord functionality, but these Terms do not transfer ownership of the software or branding to you.

Discord and its associated trademarks remain the property of Discord Inc.

10. Privacy

RoleConsole's handling of information is described in the RoleConsole Privacy Policy. By using RoleConsole, you acknowledge that information may be processed as described there.

11. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate RoleConsole's operation in a server where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, Discord compliance, or technical reasons. A server administrator can also remove RoleConsole from their server through Discord.

12. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by applicable law, RoleConsole is provided without guarantees that it will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every Discord server configuration.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when RoleConsole changes or when legal or platform requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will identify the current version. Continued use after an updated version is published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

14. Contact

Questions about these Terms should be directed through the current contact method published on lpcomix.dev.

15. Governing law

These Terms are intended to operate subject to the mandatory laws and consumer rights that apply to the user and the operator. Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove rights that cannot legally be removed.
